CJB Building & Maintenance
Who Am I?
I have been in the construction industry for over 20 years, gaining hands on experience, working in almost every trade.
Over the years, I have had the privilege of working in most areas of construction/building and maintenance, gaining a range of skills. In addition to having a great eye for detail, I also take great pride in the jobs I assume.
References are always available. I’m passionate about my trade and always willing to put myself out until the job is done. Feel free to contact me for a free quote.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do you offer a free, no obligation quotation?
Absolutely! I am more than happy to visit your property to measure up, discuss your ideas and give you a personalised quote. I’m also happy to work with you on tailoring a quote to your budget.
If you do not yet own the property that you’d like a quote for, I can still provide a written quote, but this will come at a small, fixed cost. I will remove this cost from any future work you contract me for.
Are all the required materials included in your quote?
It’s up to you. Some clients prefer to purchase their own materials and others wish for me to purchase them. Either way, we can agree on this at the quotation stage and before any works get started.
I hear you are a “full service contractor”. What does this mean?
Good question. On a typical construction site, you’ll find many trades. Even for a minor job, like a bathroom renovation, you may find a plumber, carpenter, electrician, plasterer, painter, tiler, flooring specialist and possibly more.
Often, this can be stressful for clients, as it means managing and trusting many different people in your home.
At CJB Budling and Maintenance, I pride myself in completing many jobs on my own. This is made possible by my many years of working with skilled craftsmen in most building disciplines.
If I think your job requires a specialism, that is not my strength. I have a long list of contacts who I can recommend and whom I will project manage for you.
As always, I will discuss all the available options with you at the quotation stage, so you can make an informed choice.
Can we preview other projects you’ve completed in the past to review your quality?
Yes, with pleasure. I take a great deal of pride in my work and have many satisfied customers who’d happily open their doors for you to review the quality finish of their project.
I also have a large portfolio of pictures, not only of finished projects but documented progress of the entire job. This allows you to see how I take care of every job site and how even hidden elements of a job are completed to perfection.
Is there a waiting list to get started on my project?
Typically yes. Dependent on the size of your project, there may be a while to wait. However, sometimes I can squeeze small jobs in around larger projects.
The best bet is to contact me, and we can discuss your requirements and preferred timeline for completion.
A quick word of warning; most quality tradespeople have a waiting list. If someone can start your project today, you may want to question why that is.
Who manages your projects?
I manage all my projects myself. I’m your point of contact for the whole project.
Are all the photographs on your website of your work?
How long are your quotations valid for?
30 days. This may seem like a short period of time, but unfortunately the cost of materials is constantly fluctuating at the moment. If your quote does expire, I will happily reprice it with the current costs.
